The Balagne,

The Balagne unfolds its fine-sand, turquoise-water beaches, from wild Ostriconi to the great bay of Calvi. Each beach has its own character: Ostriconi and its preserved dunes for lovers of unspoilt nature, Lozari and its translucent lagoon, Ghjunchitu for snorkelling, Algajola and Aregno for the village-by-the-water feel, Calvi for its shallow waters ideal for children. Lozari beach, a true turquoise lagoon, is easily reached in 20 min from the estate. Swimming, snorkelling, paddleboarding or simply lazing around… change of scenery every day.

Costa, Belgodère, Speloncato, Sant’Antonino, Pigna, Corbara, Lama… the Balagne is dotted with villages clinging to the mountainside, ranked among the most beautiful in Corsica. Cobbled lanes, granite houses, baroque churches, convents and Romanesque chapels tell of centuries of history. Lower down, L’Île-Rousse and its covered market, Algajola and its seafront fortress, Calvi and its commanding Genoese citadel round out the discovery, between crafts, citadels and seafront. All 5 to 30 min from the estate, for a cultural break between two swims.
